The university of Miami has published an academic calendar for the 2024. the Spring semester will commence on January 29, 2024 and spring break week will start on March 25, 2024.
Miami Winter academic calendar 2024
- The winter semester is scheduled to start on January 2, 2024 and will run through January 26, 2024.
- The deadline to Withdraw from the university is January 24, 2024. For Further details please read their Withdraw process for undergraduate students.
- The degree Conferral will be announced on January 26, 2024.
- The deadline for both web registration process ( adding or dropping courses ) and the department to enroll students in a course or independent study is January 4, 2024.
- The deadline for dropping a class without a grade and for credit/ no credit change is January 8, 2023.
- The deadline to drop from a course with “W” grades and for change or audit is January 17, 2024.
- The deadline to submit grades is January 30, 2024 and grades will be viewable on February 1, 2024.
Spring semester 2024
The Spring semester will start on January 29, 2024.Spring break will take place from March 25 to March 31, 2024 and Final examination will begin on May 13, 2024.

- Last 12 weeks Q classes : February 12 to May 10, 2024
- First 6 weeks T classes : February 5 to March 15, 2024
- Last 6 weeks U classes : April 1 to May 10, 2024
- First 8 weeks V classes : February 5 to April 5, 2024
- Last 8 weeks W classes : March 11 to May 10, 2024
- The deadline to apply for August graduation is February 28, 2024.
- The fall course schedule will be viewable through Monday, March 18, 2024.
- Spring break : March 25 and March 31, 2024.
- The deadline to withdraw from the university is April 22, 2024.
- Final examinations period : May 13 to May 17, 2024
- The degree Conferral/Commencement ceremony is held on May 18, 2024.

The summer term class will commence on May 21 and finish on August 10, 2024. And degree Conferral will be held on August 16, 2024.
